Come join the team at the newly opened Regent Restaurant & Bar,
situated inside the Brookmere Hotel on the outskirts of Saratoga
Springs. We are currently looking for creative, fast paced and
professional Bartender to join our hospitality team.
This modern French inspired eatery is looking to redefine fine
dining, taking a playful twist on some classic dishes and infusing the
cuisine with a splash of the Hudson Valley and Upstate New York.
West coast transplant Chef Christopher Smith helms the culinary
operations, drawing upon over 2 decades of experience primarily in
similar luxury boutique hotel properties and finer dining
establishments in the Seattle and greater Portland areas.

The Brookmere Hotel and Regent Restaurant & Bar, opened
in December 2024, situated just a mile from the Saratoga Racetrack and
abutting Saratoga National Golf Course. The 10-acre site, formerly
known as Longfellows Hotel, Restaurant, and Conference Center is home
for the new 88-room upper-upscale hotel, full-service Restaurant and
Bar with seasonal outdoor porch, Spa, Banquet facility with 6,000
sq.ft. of meeting and event space, and private access to Lake Lonely.

Essential Functions:
- Greet, direct, seat, and take all orders of food and beverage guests.
- Serve guests in accordance with company standards.
- Organize and maintain consistent liquor inventory. Communicate
inventory needs to appropriate manager.
- Participate in development of, and be knowledgeable of all wine
and beer lists offered.
- Participate in development of, and be knowledgeable of all
specialty cocktail menus.
- Ability to make pairing suggestions.
- Open and serve bottled wine in accordance to HCH service standards.
- Able to pour glass wine, beer, and mixed drinks in accordance with
HCH service standards.
- Understand and practice safe serving practices, such as cutting a
customer off, suggesting food items, spacing out drinks, calling
driving assistance, etc.
- Ability to obtain proper certification for state liquor requirements.
- Complete proper set up for temporary or banquet bars.
- Prepare garnishes and mix drink ingredients prior to shift.
- Be thoroughly familiar with menu items and related materials.
- Clean and maintain all working areas and equipment.
- Obtain settlement from customers, either cash, credit or room
charge, and settle bills using the POS system.
- Complete all listed opening, side-work, and closing checklists,
cleaning checklists, and duties related to shift.
- Reconciliation cash, accurately charge credit cards, and make
appropriate cash deposits at end of shift.
- Practice cleanliness and safety in all dining areas, liquor and
wine storage areas.
- Understand and communicate daily specials and specialty menus to guests.
- Deliver food consistent with expectations of proper timing of food courses.
- Practice conscious knowledge of food allergies and safety,
communicate effectively to guests with allergies, let manager know
before ordering for guest.
