As The Rhyland Hotel prepares for its grand opening in summer 2025, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead our diverse and vibrant food and beverage operations. This landmark hotel in Flushing, NY, will feature two cutting-edge restaurants, a large banquet hall, and outdoor terraces, all dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

About the Role: The Director of Food and Beverage will play a critical role in shaping the culinary landscape of The Rhyland Hotel. This position is perfect for a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and excellence in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire food and beverage department, ensuring seamless operations across all outlets.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create exciting menus that reflect the modern American fare and the bounty of New York State.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial planning for the food and beverage department.
• Lead, train, and inspire a large team of food and beverage professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

• Proven track record as a Director of Food and Beverage or similar leadership role in a high-end hotel or resort.
• Strong operational knowledge with a proven ability to drive revenue and control costs.
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building.
