Job Description:

The Tap House at the Grand Summit Hotel is actively searching for professional, friendly, and fast-paced Banquet Setup Person to join our Food and Beverage team.

This is a Part-Time position. Expected regular shifts will include Morning/Lunch/Dinner/Late Nights on various days of the week.

Job Summary:

  • Set up events according to BEO timing and direction from F&B Director.
  • Set-up and break-down of events according to BEO and floor plan outlines, including moving/stacking tables and chairs, setting linens, flatware, and glassware, arranging décor, setting and breaking down buffet line, and all other assigned pre-function duties.
  • Maintain proper storage of banquet décor, tools, linens, and equipment.

Experience and Skills:

Required Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year serving experience in a restaurant, catering, or banquet capacity preferred.
  • Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days (i.e. town festivals).
  • Ability to move and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
