Job Description:

Are you a people-person with a knack for creating exceptional guest experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment? The Grand Summit Hotel is looking for a warm, detail-oriented, and professional Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel!

Job Description:

  • Greet guests with a warm, genuine smile and provide outstanding service throughout their stay.

  • Answer and transfer multi-line phone calls, manage messages, and assist with guest inquiries.

  • Efficiently handle guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and secure payment processing.

  • Make and confirm reservations, both online and over the phone.

  • Assist with guest requests such as luggage assistance, dining recommendations, housekeeping coordination, and more.

  • Communicate effectively with the housekeeping and maintenance departments.

  • Handle guest issues and complaints with grace, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ensure the safety and security of guests, including leading emergency procedures when needed.

Experience and Skills:

Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience; hotel or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Tech-savvy with quick learning skills; knowledge of Property Management Systems is a plus.

  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented with excellent communication and multitasking skills.

  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
