The Hartness Hospitality Collection in Greenville,
SC is seeking an experienced, passionate, and results-driven
Hotel General Manager to lead our dynamic team of
hospitality professionals. This is a unique opportunity to oversee
and elevate the operations of the acclaimed Hotel
Hartness, its full-service restaurant
Patterson, the casual café Village
Kitchen, and a world-class luxury spa.
Nestled within Hartness, Greenville’s premier
traditional neighborhood development, the Hartness
Hospitality Collection offers a distinctive blend of
elevated dining, luxurious accommodations, and unforgettable guest
experiences — all managed by Hay Creek Hotels.
Since opening in 2022, Hotel Hartness has set a
new standard of luxury in Greenville, featuring 73
beautifully appointed suites, a full-service
spa, and expansive indoor and outdoor meeting and
event spaces — including a grand ballroom that hosts up
to 300 guests. The hotel’s modern yet timeless design, serene

Job Summary:
-
Lead and oversee daily operations across all property
departments, including Guest Services, Housekeeping, Restaurant
& Bar, Spa, Sales & Marketing, Private Events, and Engineering.

Cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, guests, and
the community, becoming the face of the property through
proactive engagement and exceptional guest service.

Enforce internal and external customer service standards
aligned with Hay Creek Hotels’ Standard Operating Procedures.

Direct all aspects of associate management: creative
recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, development,
performance management, recognition, and retention.

Foster a positive, engaging workplace culture in line with Hay
Creek Hotels’ Beliefs and Culture Model.

Manage overall hotel and departmental budgets by ensuring
effective scheduling, accurate forecasting, inventory
management, cost control, and creative revenue-generating initiatives.

Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, safety,
security, and labor laws, certifications, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with department managers to develop and execute
sales and marketing strategies, including promotions, events,
digital marketing, and community outreach.
