Job Description:
The Hotel Hartness is actively searching for an efficient,
detailed, and self-motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our
Engineering team.
This is a Full Time position.
- Respond promptly to all guest issues and address all work orders
in an efficient and effective manner.
- Assist in the proper operations and upkeep of all; electrical,
mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, tile work, laundry, kitchen,
refrigeration, lighting systems, and all specialized equipment as
directed by Lead Maintenance Engineer/General Manager.
- Daily maintenance including wall repair, painting, furniture
repair, floor buffing/polishing, lighting replacement, unclogging of
toilets, cleanliness of exterior of facility, cleaning of window
screens, replacement of small fixtures, basic landscaping, and all
other property needs to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in the preventative and general maintenance programs for
all equipment, guest rooms, restaurant, public areas, parking areas,
and all other facilities located on property.
- Leadership role in curb appeal, landscaping, and grounds
maintenance in all weather conditions.
- Regular Trash removal/management.
- Adheres to all; health, sanitation, safety and security, laws,
policies and procedures in the department/hotel.
- Monitors and ensures departmental compliance with all state and
federal wage and hour employment laws
