Job Description:

The Hotel Landing is actively searching for an experienced, proactive, fast paced Banquet Manager to lead our Banquet Team. Located only 15 minutes west of Minneapolis Hotel Landing is the premiere boutique hotel on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. Managed by Hay Creek Hotels, this luxury 92 room boutique hotel, includes an upscale restaurant/bar, patio, state of the art meeting facilities and spa.

Be the superhero of action and execution behind the party planner. Make the brand sparkle while creating life long memories for guests as you tackle even the most minute details. Create the ultimate guest experience while simultaneously orchestrating smooth event operations for and with the banquet team. Oversee all banquet event operations to ensure hotel events are executed flawlessly. Be the coordinator of everything function and detail. Be the event day point person for every event no matter if a lunch time meeting for 10 or a wedding for 200. Schedule, lead, mentor, evaluate and manage banquet staff. Direct the banquet team to set up, prepare for, execute and flip banquet space for all hotel events. Manage all special product needs based on Banquet Event Orders, receiving, product storage and organization of banquet areas. Work closely with the sales team to ensure every detail of all banquet functions is met to the guest’s expectation.
