Job Description:

The Hotel Landing is actively searching for an experienced, proactive and detailed Executive Meeting Manager to join the Sales team.

Located only 15 minutes from Minneapolis on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, Wayzata is a small-town community with a highly seasonal influx of tourists. Managed by Hay Creek Hotels, this luxury 92 room boutique hotel, includes an upscale restaurant/bar, patio, state of the art meeting facilities and spa.

The Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for booking and executing all details for events/groups. Be proactive in booking repeat business. Meet and greet clients, conduct tours of the property with prospective clients and obtain function details. Detail, coordinate and customize client experiences for all group managers. Develop and distribute all communication relating to execution of the event including BEO’s and resumes for all group managers.

Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ Years Event Management experience
  • Proven success with people skills, management techniques and daily execution of operations
  • Clean work habits with great attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment while maintaining calmness, composure, and hospitality
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
  • Must have flexibility with schedule requirements
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
