Job Description:

Hotel Landing is searching for a highly motivated, organized and fast paced Banquet Houseperson to join our team. Located only 15 minutes west of Minneapolis Hotel Landing is the premiere boutique hotel on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. Managed by Hay Creek Hotels, this luxury 92 room boutique hotel, includes an upscale restaurant/bar, patio, state of the art meeting facilities and spa.

The Banquet Houseperson is a key member of the Banquets team and will work closely with department team members to deliver amazing products and services to our guests. Responsible for the physical set-up, flip, and break-down of all events in the hotel the person in this role must be quick on their feet while able to simultaneously provide the highest level of service to hotel guests. The person in this role will work both independently and as a team to follow very specific banquet event orders to ensure accuracy for the event set up. Ability to lift, push, pull and carry heavy items of 75lbs or more is required. Ability to speak read and write English to communicate with guests and follow banquet event orders (BEO’s) is required. A positive, friendly, pro-active and forward thinking personality is a must.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous customer service experience, hospitality industry experience desired.
