Job Description:
Hay Creek Hotels is actively searching for professional, friendly,
and fast-paced Restaurant Servers to join our Food and Beverage Team
at the new Hearth Restaurant at the Embers Hotel.
Tucked in the quaint mountain town of Blowing Rock, North Carolina,
The Embers Hotel offers 36 guest rooms and suites with full-service
restaurant and al fresco dining patio. Managed by Hay Creek Hotels,
this new-build boutique location will embody a fireside retreat with
4-star service in an approachable, natural setting.
Full-time and part-time positions available with daytime, evening,
weekday and weekend shifts.
$15 - $22 per hour
Job Summary:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and
interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Be thoroughly familiar with menu items, promotions offered, hotel
offerings, and related materials.
- Take customer orders and provide detailed food, wine & spirit
menu information Have solid knowledge of spirits & classic cocktails.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and
accurate food and beverage service for customers
- Adhere to all food and alcohol service standards.
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions
accurately. Reconciliation cash, accurately charge credit cards, and
make appropriate cash deposits at end of shift. Complete all
transactions using the Point of Sale system.
- Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly. Clean
and maintain all working areas and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work place.
